Overbought/Oversold (OB/OS)
A stock is said to be “overbought” when its price has risen further than is justified by its technical analysis situation, while “Oversold” is the reverse. The Chaikin OB/OS rating provides a smoothed and scaled indication of where a stock falls in its normal trading range. It uses a scale of 1 to 100, with a value of 70 or higher being “Overbought” and 30 or lower being “Oversold.”
